Who We Are

Organizational Background

Since its inception in 2009, iCAM has been dedicated to improving the lives of youth and families, particularly in under resourced communities, by providing educational programs, health initiatives, and community engagement activities. iCAM leverages innovative practices, technology, and storytelling to deliver impactful, modernized programs.

To date, iCAM has raised over $100,000 for local programs, partnered with over 100 schools and community organizations, and reached over 3,000 youth annually through workshops, events, and forums.

iCAM’s flagship programs include Don’t Talk; Just Vote, Hip Hop Study Hall, i Got Me - Teen Town Hall, and the Men’s Health Huddle.

The mission of iCare About Me (iCAM) is to enhance self-esteem and well-being by empowering families and communities through support, education, and collective growth.

OUR FOUNDER

DJ Ekin

With an impressive resume that encompasses everything from On-Air Talent & Director Of Community Engagement (Cox Media Group’s 101.5 The VIBE), to Head Of Music / In-Game Host / Official DJ (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), to acting, writing, producing, and CEO, there is no mistaking why DJ Ekin is widely known as “Tampa’s Most Connected DJ”.

He is the driving force behind iCAM. Ekin realizes that it all starts with community. He keeps it simple he says. “Entertaining the people is one thing; but being able to also educate and empower my community while doing so unlocks a whole new level of growth for everyone.
